Been at Hagen Sec. since 2003. In the last six years, I headed Technology. Department (made up of Home Economics, Practical skills, Personal Development, Agriculture/Rural technology). I am currently teaching Grade 12 personal development. After hours, I teach Biology 1 and 2 at the DODL- Mt Hagen centre.

My specialized subjects to teach are Computing / ICT and Mathematics. I am now teaching Gr. 11 and Gr. 12 Computing. I am an Accredited Tester with ICDL Asia which our school offers. Teaching computing is challenging but at the same time it’s fun and enjoyable when I’m acquiring new skills and techniques as technology is always changing.

I am currently teaching Geography for grade 11 students. I can also teach History, Computing, Practical Skills and Social Science.

After normal teaching hours I coordinate the Department of Open & Distance Learning (DODL) a PNG University of Technology program here at Mt Hagen Secondary School.

I Miss Carol Tom, I graduated from University of Goroka with B.ED (mathematics & Physics). I’m from Western Highlands Province. This is my second year of teaching. I teach Grade 11 General Mathematics and grade 9 mathematics. I love teaching mathematics and it’s all about applying and playing

I was graduated early this year (2014) with a Bachelor of Education in Secondary teaching at the University of Goroka. When accepted to do my first teaching in this premier institution, I was given Grade 10 practical skills and Grade 9 Mathematics. It’s good dealing with human beings as this profession is a noble profession. I like teaching…Thumbs up.
